Yes, ultimately they are protected by insurance. I'll give feedback once it arrives to see if I think it's worth keeping..appreciate your thoughts.

Looks too much like a safe where the good stuff is. I went the opposite direction, not saying I am correct, just a different perspective. I bought a Knaack job site box on CR for cheap, $200, some elbow work and spray paint, and it holds most of my stuff, likely over 1K lbs as it sits, with my tools to defeat, definitely a barrier against the smash and grab folks. Yep no security for fire or flood, I pay homeowners insurance for that.
Agreed my first interpretation in the photos above also did some 'advertising'. Have since enclosed the space and 5 years ago sold the home. All is lost, I only took the contents. Lessons learned, my new storage is far more discrete but same basic implementation.
