The clean up would have been far too much for any profit on that home. I walked, but still watching it from time to time and hope to buy it for land value. Maybe one day, who knows?

Exactly. A meth "cook" generates hazardous waste, and it will cost a LOT to clean up. OTOH, they may blow the house up trying to make meth. The ensuing fire will take care of an demolition costs.
