Had a Cajun gentlemen who would sell Red Beans and Rice out of his trailer at Nostalgia Racing events here in Colorado. If you didnt get your order in before 11:00 AM, you were too late because he was sold out. It was amazingly good!
There is a smaller franchise here in Colorado, possibly nation wide, who specializes in selling chicken (not KFC) . They added RB&R to their menu. I was remembering the Cajun's stuff, and was hungry, and was very near one of the franchises so I though I would give it a try.
I will give them credit for honesty because their exact recipe was red beans and rice, nothing else, just red beans and rice. That was the last time I visited that franchise.
