Nothing knocks aside all youthful (or liberal hankerings) like having children. That is if one is a responsible parent.

I don't know about the Midwest or East Coast, or even elsewhere on the West Coast, but in L.A., adds have been running where an unwatched toddler chases a toy to the edge of a swimming pool, and by body language alone, is ready to jump in the water -- again while being unwatched.

The cut-line under the this image is something to the effect of the parents would understand they couldn't watch the kid because they were busy getting stoned...
