I would have thought a large number here grew up in the 60s and 70s.
I can't believe you're offended by some guy with rings and braids in his hair.
Let me quote a line from the rock opera "Hair "
"I would just like to say that it is my conviction that longer hair and other flamboyant affectations of appearance are nothing more than the male's emergence from his grand camouflage into the gaudy plumage which is the birthright of his sex. "
I've never worn my hair long but if some guy wants to it's OK, I have a life.
