I was a dealer and have shipped hundreds of cars. Using a big name enclosed shipper like intercity lines, reliable, plycar, or someone that has been around a long time you will not have much trouble.
Where people get into trouble is listing the load on a site where random truckers bid for the load. Every broker service does this. Last thing you want is a rickety old random trailer showing up with Igor the Eastern European driver hauling your car. Another interesting thing I have seen is someone posts a load, sells the load to some shady transport for the cheapest price... this is public info and Another separate shady Eastern European truck comes and steals the car because the sender doesn’t realize this in not the right guy. Use big brand name here and you won’t have trouble.
