I went to the ER back in 2011, age 36, really high BP, felt awful, doc gave me metoprolol 25mg. Spent 3 days in the hospital, doc would not release me until I had a stress test, they had to induce, the doctor said no to the treadmill.
I got out of sales a year later. Stress is much lower now, don't take meds daily, but every now and then I need a pill. Lost over 30 pounds in the last year, and that seems to help out.
