Ok I have the two brown wires on the plug connected to ground. The red wire when connected to power the light works no problem. What do the y/g and b/g need to be connected to power or ground? The only 2 other wires that are left are a thinner brown/red and and yellow/green which looking at the diagram those are for /up and down and should be connected to power depending on which one you want (up/down). Lastly on the harness on the side there's a smaller brown/white I was wondering if this is for a lid open switch and needs to be grounded in order for everything to work. Right now I'm testing this with the lid open and two jumpers running to a battery for +/- and proof of functionality. I've tried a number of different combinations none have which have made the tail motor work. I'm afraid it might be faulty that's why I'm asking so many questions and want to confirm the wiring is correct. Thanks again
