I would be interested to see one of these things at a local bracket race. I would be willing to bet not a one actually breaks 12 seconds on its issue street tires. Horsepower alone won't do it, especially in a car that heavy. It's all about the launch and the first couple hundred feet when it comes to those kinds of ET's. That's where street tires fail...

Have you ever driven a newer Porsche with Launch control? They will easily do that all day long.. on street tires.. and it's bullet proof... and this was 5 years ago..
