Here now, was here about 18 months ago in thr biga$$ RV, we like the area, weather is OK most of the year, taxes are favorable, gas wa $2.33/gal today, last week in Los Angeles it was around $4.55/gal
Looking at new houses in the $500-$600 range. We’ll look at used homes as well, maybe get a little more space between houses. May keep the SoCAL townhouse, and buy a second place here, its a few hour drive from here to NYC and the Poconos in PA where my daughter, her husband and our 2, 4 an 6 y/o grandsons maintain houses.
