Lots of Wrangler threads on this forum. Search them out! Last one I recall was a member looking at TJ options and ended up buying a late model JK. Slippery slope but fun none the less
FWIW, I DD a TJ, '04 unlimited so that means longer wheel base but b4 the 4 door option. Love it, but honestly will say it's rototiller technology compared to the newer offerings. Likely your wife will prefer a more civilized DD that looks the part? I say that only because my wife hates driving my TJ without perfect weather and small distances.
Edit - a limited set of circumstances for a death wobble, normally some worn joints, misbalanced tires, loose connections. I had a DW in my TJ a couple times until I found a lower control arm was toast...at 120K miles. Easy solution.
