When we went to the Key West there was a lady there with her kids. It was a typical looking American mom, and she took some photos with her kids with her phone. On the iPhone with the phone locked, I can swipe from the right and the camera opens up, ready to go. It is just a camera, and it has no access to any other part of the phone even other photos. So I could hand it to her for some pictures.
I back up my phone to my computer with the long password so it stores everything encrypted. Just plug in a new phone and restore, and I have everything back. I have never lost or broken a phone. My phone is an iPhone 6S so it is several generations old. It was released in 2015 and I remember getting it in December, so I guess 4 years ago in one month and and a day.
I guess the iPhone 7, 8, X, XR, XS, 11, 11 Pro Max have been released as well as the larger version. I guess some day I will get one of the new ones for the better camera, and more speed. As a cheapskate, it just ain't time yet.
