As I've aged, I've found that the gas and go thing doesnt work for me anymore. After a couple hundred miles I need to stretch, take a pee break and grab something to eat. In that time i can charge back to 80%. So unless I'm really in a hurry, waiting for it to charge has been a non issue for us. It's actually become our car of choice trips.
