Porsche 992 Width 1,852 mm (72.9 in)
1964 Porsche 911 Width 63.4 in | 1610 mm.
So only a difference of 9.5", or 242 mm. 14% increase
992 Kerb weight 1,505–1,635 kg (3,318–3,605 lb)
1964 911 Kerb weight 1080 kg (2381 lb)
34% increase in weight.
But all cars have increased in weight over the years, mostly due to DOT crash and safety regulations.
