Coyote Barking
Just now, as if celebrating the Seahawks victory over the unbeaten 49'ers, a single coyote was barking in the briars behind my house. Yelping incessantly, for a couple of minutes while travelling substantial distance. Near enough to shoot, though I never saw it. A hundred yards or better, total distance covered by the coyote.
It was only recently, here on PPOT, I learned that coyotes can bark. I wonder what on Earth would motivate a coyote to bark/yelp incessantly for dozens of yards and a couple of minutes, and then continue into the distance. Anybody?
Perhaps the coyote was a Tom Brady fan just realizing Russell Wilson is a WAY better quarterback. Sammy?
