Post Airbag steering wheel removal

I think I've found the info for the airbag steering wheel removal. Disconnect the battery first. Then there are two holes on the back side of the wheel, one at 0 degrees and and one at 180 degrees. Insert a torxs (#8?) socket into each of these and remove the bolts. The panel should come off exposing the airbag. Disconnect two wires to the airbag and remove from the wheel, placing it somewhere far away. DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION ON AFTER THIS POINT. This will cause the airbag warning light to stay on after you reconnect the battery requiring you to bring it to a shop to make it turn off again. Mark the rotation of the wheel with respect to the shaft using a peice of tape or some white-out and then remove the large nut from the steering column. It is either a 24mm or a 27mm. Most likely will need a breaker bar. That's it. Now I can re-finish my leather steering wheel cover without paying a chiropractor. I haven't used this procedure yet but I plan on it tonight. I'll repost the solutions to any problems I may run into. It seems pretty straight forward though.
