Lots going on, so what's your gig?

Well, I ran the company that controlled this particular stevedoring company. So I did the payroll and all that goes along with that. Then as it grew, I moved closer to the stevedoring portion and took over as a ship's agent which I really enjoyed and did that for many years (back then all our work was working for local potato growers)
who exported lots and lots of seed potatoes.
One of our best young workers ended up buying the stevedoring company, he was a close friend and now I work for him.
I feel I'm more or less retired but still go in every day and help my pal get through his day. We talk cars alot and I do gophering for him. He's alot younger than me but we have similar interests (cars). Some days I might say to him, "Hey man, are you losing weight, is your hair growing back?"
I think that's why he keeps me around.
Thanks for asking.
