That 90-second ride reminds of a ride a friend had at Rincon, near Santa Barbara. He caught the wave at Rincon and rode it for so long he could barely stand on the board by the end. He made it past La Conchita, about 2.5 miles away and had to hitch a ride back to Rincon. He surfed all over the world and that was his best ride, ever. Right where he grew up.
