Owned and drove both back to back.

I really like the 944 but it's overwhelmingly evident the boxster benefits from several decades of improvements and refinements. It's far less maintenance. Drives and performs better. A phenomenal value for what you get.

A well sorted 944, still very special, oozes that old world solid german build quality, the S2 Cabs actually have usable power over the original base 944 NA's, are a very distinct sight on the roads, my 944 gets tons of attention and compliments now versus 5-10 years ago. They're starting to feel vintage but still very easy to live with day-to-day.
