I have owned a V70 wagon, S60 sedan and an XC90. All were exceptionally reliable. The closest to your prospective car would have been my 2009 XC90. It was a very durable and reliable car which we owned from 41K to 156k miles. We purchased it CPO from Volvo so it had the bumper to bumper 100K 3 year warranty. I think we used the warranty once for something small. Other than that it needed nothing except brakes, tires and regular service until we sold it. My wife just wanted something newer. It seems like all of my Mercedes and BMW friends are complaining about repairs and expense.
