If you are anal, yes, Stock speedo is rarely accurate as is w/ stock tires. The factory did use a special speedo for '76 C3 w/ 205/50 & 225/50x15 tires. I have one on my car and have used multiple size tires from 15 to 16 to 17, I just don't pay much attention to the speedo
