Mahindra, Karsan, VT Hackney, and Oshkosh are in the running to replace the aging 140,000 vehicle fleet. I think VT is the only EV. Oshkosh is gas. The other 2 are hybrid.

Oshkosh.... Talk about a monopoly... Don't get me wrong. I love me a hemtt...
I actually think this llv's are amazing trucks for never having a overhaul program. They literally only get fixed when they break on the side of the road. Old tech that can't be replicated today. Sure they catch fire for no reason, no a.c., and a gear shifter that will automatically drop into reverse if you let it idle.... LOL
But to get that level of 4 decade reliability at that price point from a hybrid. LOL
A small diesel would make sense though....
