Well being a 2.4 with E cams and the upgrade to hydraulic cam tensioners that weren't available until '84 some work was progressively done over the years. With that said the Speedometer had 50K miles and assume this engine has something less than that since it is not original. When I pulled it from the car is had a set of 46mm Weber's on it and you couldn't drive down the road under 4000 RPM no matter how slow you were driving it LOL
My plan is to tear it down anyway and do a complete rebuild on it for the seals and gaskets and any mechanical issues I find along the way if any. I will check out AutoX. Thanks for the reference. I did check Rennlist but didn't get any responses.
