I don't disagree that new truck prices are crazy. The tech in new trucks is likewise crazy.

I tow a big horse trailer with living quarters a few times a year. While my older f350 diesel (04, and yes the 6.0 has been bulletproofed) is overkill the rest of the time, when I need it I need it. Its definitely not "town friendly" though, impossible to park and the turning circle of the Queen Mary.
I really like the Titan Cummins, but its a) expensive and b) discontinued after this year. Suspect that they might be less expensive than late model domestics on the used market but haven't done the research as I'm only into my truck for 12k and its not going anywhere.
