That looks like a Higo no Kami style knife with a more normal blade. It's made by the Shun knife's parent company (Kai). Their blade profiles are usually more of an upside down tanto or maybe the love child of sheep's foot and tanto knives. Higo no Kami normally don't lock, but I'm pretty sure the Kai version pictured above is a liner lock. I'd like a nice Higo no Kami, but just haven't pulled the trigger.
