Exactly. I have struggled with AR most of my life. I have been taking protonix 1x a day for the last couple years, OTC stuff for many years prior. Recently had endoscopy done with result finding of Barrett's esophagus...

I have modified my diet by reducing the food and spices I eat at dinner and moved that meal at least 2-3 hours prior to bedtime. Still get an episode, reflux up throat and sinus cavities, now every couple months which is miserable and takes a few hours to dissipate.

I am now on the schedule for an annual endoscopy - with my annual insurance deductible that pencils out to almost $4K OOP year for just that procedure.
