I am now on the schedule for an annual endoscopy - with my annual insurance deductible that pencils out to almost $4K OOP year for just that procedure.

Had to look, Protonix (Pantoprazole) is the heavy one I mentioned. It got the symptoms under control to where a 300mg Ranitidine made things better but he still has flareups. The problem is, the flareup doesn't just last for a few hours but rather for days where he'll feel nauseated or will actually be vomiting (not fun). He was checked for B.E.
On the dinner front. I made the white fish and veggies. He was less than pleased. His words "I'm just not a fan of this kind of food". I get what he's saying. I've had my own bouts with A.R. Not easy going from "meat and taters" to chicken, fish, turkey and veggies. I'm going to buy a few cookbooks to see what I can find for good recipes.
