Glad this thread got bumped (some of the information gets stale though, as to 2011 tire availability)

Thinking to go to 7" & 8" from the oem 6"/7" STILL debating 15" or 16". If I go with 15.. why aren't 15" Fuchs ideal for this? Something about the off-set which I don't understand. I have a very nice used set of 15" 7&8 here, which are new to me. Also have 4 nearly new 7" wheels but the are from a 944 Turbo. They look very fresh, almost brand new.N.O.S. Then I have the OEM 6/7 which came with my car. I might just to buy a new set of 16 x 8" or 9" and run one off the SIX (!) 7" wheels I have in the front....If I go with the 951 off-set, I can then also upgrade to Turbo brakes.. right ? and that can't be bad. Is 9" better than x 8" ...tire size is somehow the same right? Hmm... decisions ...decisions... & I might need to sell some wheels to make this all happen...
