Friend of mine had a turbo 3000 GT VR4, kind of a pearl white, mild to moderately stunning stock paint job, dinged a bit by high speed collisions with various East Texas bugs. Never got to drive it, he traded it on a Corvette. He said it was a mistake, he missed the Mitsubishi, said it felt quicker, preferred the AWD, which was pretty advanced I think. Corvette was faster, but he did not really like it, did not keep it long. I would think one of those C 5 Corvettes would be a good car for eating up Texas highways, they are fast autocrossing. No doubt it had good air conditioning, looks like a comfy seat.
I can imagine the combination of turbo and AWD would be fairly intoxicating though.
My wife has a Montero Sport that is really a pretty good truck, for an SUV, kind of narrow, which makes it easier to park. Towed my Integra out from Texas like it was nothing
