I would buy a spare now, cause if like say, 356 or 911 speedster tops, OEM replacements will become unavailable sooner rather than later. |
Perhaps I should have prefaced that with “relatively speaking”. 
I have already started collecting some of the other unique parts and the top is on my list too. I’ve heard that they already ran out of original stock and IIRC the price was actually lower in the past so yes they are already going up.
