Apologies for the duplicate. I posted this in the 911 technical forum when it really should have been here.
I recently acquired my 2005 997.1. There is a small very slow oil drip coming from the drivers side around this big nut with a hollow centre.
I found an underside picture online and added an arrow to it for reference.
Can someone tell me what this bolt is for? I suspect it might be an oil tank drain but Im not familiar with these engines yet.
