The p210 is the pinacle of 9mm autos. The only knock is it is a sa and not a da. It is the inside rail system that makes it rock solid. I have not seen the American version but my guess is thst it is outstanding.

The other 9mm auto that is outstanding is the Cz 75 sp01 and p01 series. The CZ uses the same inside rail system and is a rock solid da auto.the Shadow 2 has the same foward grip that the p210 has. They are a bit heavy and can be considerd a good thing? They are right out of the box ispa ready. The Compact p01 is being used by NATO. Very accurate. Tje CZ is a lot of bang for the buck..same quality as w eu but being made in the Czech Rep labour costs are lower. Win win.

Of course you can tweak them by the cz custom shop in AZ. or Cajun gw.

Then there is Langdons tweaking of the M9 Beretta..the Elite TT..or just a notch down the M9A3. I cant see what they can do to make the M9 anybetter..a real smooth operating system. Consider that Langdon helped Wilson Combat develope their tweaked out version of the 92.

Those are the hot tickets at the moment.

As for the 1911 the Springfield Operator TRP and Kimbers are tweaked out Production spoons that offer about 90% of a Custom. It is that extra 10% that costs you bank. In that arena Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Les Baer and Springfield Custom shop are the current gurus of the 1911. Mighty fine product.

For the AR platform ... debatably the Knights SR 15 is king of the hill..with BCM, Daniel Defense and Novkesky being right in there. The Knights SR25 is the the cream de la crema of AR10's..in 308. Try sub minute of angle at 600 yards. Thats why they were the designated marksman rifle in the sand boxes. They will set you back 5k. You want the US military sniper kit north of 10K the last time i looked.

As for the AK...the Arsenal SAM7..milled receiver is the cadilliac. The Norinco (Chinese) milled receivers though now not imported are very desirably and have gotten expensive for an AK. Other choies are the Russian SAIGA and MOLOT stamped reveivers that are heavy duty with extra rivets. The Molot Veper in 308 or 7.625 X 54R is choice at 1799. Then there is Zastafa from Serbia..at apx 800 lots of quality for the buck. They also make a sniper version similar to the Russian Draugnov in 308 m96? at 3100.

A real Russian Draugnov is going to set you back in the hood of 20 +k depending upon the day. The scopes shoot loose on those.
