I’m with you on that, though I suspect the active 60-70 year old crowd is still fueling this market. A good friend of mine (and former boss) quit his lucrative job as a partner in a local AE firm three years ago and opened his own shop performing nut and bolt (stock and modified) restorations.
He for all intensive purposes is killing it and has a backlog like you wouldn’t believe.
