Good god, that is definitely a “super” beetle. Very nice. I’m currently building an Intermeccanica (356 replica) with G-series suspension. However I stumbled across this build and was very inspired.

They’re running a mid engine setup that allowed them to narrow the rear and bring it in closer to the transaxle, but it would be great to try and do the same on rear engine car. I think I’ve seen pictures of early 911’s or even SWB cars with 996 suspension, but can’t seem to find the pics off hand.
