Garage
My El Camino has two fairly small backup lights, down low. The lenses are the one that came on the car 33 years ago, and hey have yellowed and the reflectors inside the light are old as well. The brake lights are much better, but still low to the ground, and no third brake light in that era.

I added a LED strip just under the tailgate that looks right, and it shows the turn signals, brakes, running light and backup lights. It makes a BIG difference in the backup lights. I have brighter bulbs in the Elky as well.

My 911 has the same basic issues. There is a guy in the 911 tech section selling 3D printed LED bulb arrays that are really easy to replace the stock bulbs. Since I want my cruise control to continue to work, he sells a ballast to get the resistance right. It made a huge difference in the brightness of the brake lights. I have a small LED bar that someday I am going to engineer a good looking and not hacked in place 3rd brake light. The tough part is getting the wires up to it.

I have a few garage projects I may play with on my cars on the 26th if I can get time off from work and play in the garage.
