I opted to send mine to mr injector and they came back good as new with flow specs for not much $$
Do NOT use a 9V battery to 'activate' them ! The injector can easily be damaged by providing continuous power. It is supposed to be driven by a brief opening peak and then a succession of much lower voltage peaks to keep it open (depending on how much fuel the ECU wants).
Better go to a shop that has a professional testing/cleaning rig or build a small electronic drive that doesn't blow up the injector when you use it too long.
