The big difference between the Max Moritz/Meaney car is that it was
not a factory built GT but rather built with the kit authorized and offered by the factory.
That is not a knock on the car , just a fact.
It had a stellar history in Europe and I don't think it ever raced head to head against the Duval car. Its interesting that the Duval car beat the Brumos 914/6 GT driven by Haywood/Greg @ Daytona in 71', arguably its most staunch competitor.
