Wild guess here, but you may have a factory replacement case. I've never seen a "0" in the second digit location either, but the "D" and the beginning makes me think a replacement. To me, that would make sense as the factory wouldn't know what type of engine would be built using the new case so it's just stamped with a "0".

Is there a * (star) stamped before and after the engine number?
