Walls will be OSB, roof sheathing will be plywood. OSB is better in shear and tends to be more uniform, but I don't like it for roof sheathing because in that application it molds easily and becomes mush in our climate. When I had my company, we demolished a lot of rotten/moldy OSB.

Goal was to have a roofline that matches the second story of the house and high ceiling for a lift.
