Jeez, wait until you get to your 60s, try getting that weight off then.
Three years ago, when I was 65, my instructor and I were trying to get into my 1984 911 equipped with a full roll cage and Sparco seats at CMP. Both of us huffed and puffed our way in, in about 10 minutes. After the session, getting back out was even worse. I weighed 208 at 5'8", otherwise known as obese. Started the diet that evening.
I got down to 180 in a year, but then blew out 5 discs and had to have 3 spinal surgeries. Just this month, I have been able to start exercising again and today I'm at 173. My waist went from 38" to 35". My goal is 150 and my 32" waist again like I had when I was 30.
