That might be it...I vaguely recall that the PO of the 356 had pretensions of creating a Speedster lookalike with the chassis. He had cut off the top (it was a coupe!) and provided a Speedster windshield with the car, which I sold at some point.

Too bad the online pics of Speedster covers are not great. I will see what the 356 gurus say.
