This is a 1983 BMW e21 with a 2.5L M20 mated to a 5-speed transmission. The rear differential is the desirable 3.73 LSD. This combination is perfect for the 2.5L M20 motor. The engine is fully serviced and runs smooth cold and at temperature. Starts up immediately hot or cold as well. Custom made exhaust compliments the engine sound beautifully.
Exterior color is a factory BMW Bahama metallic with black interior. Black factory sport seats. Momo steering wheel and hub conversion. European gauge cluster with European center console.
Front suspension has coilovers conversion with upgraded front control arm bushings. Willwood 4 piston calipers have replaced stock to compliment the 5 lug conversion.
Rear suspension has a coilovers conversion with adjustable camber and toe upgrade. Brakes have been upgraded to e36 m3 calipers to compliment the 5 lug conversion.
A fuel cell is installed in the trunk with an upgraded fuel pump to handle the M20 engine. Windshield had to be replaced last year, installed with both new factory seals. Rebuilt dme/ecu with Dinan chip adds roughly 15-20 hp and torque but feels like quite more.
The underbody body is solid with no rust. There is minor bubbling around the drivers rear quarter window. The paint is not perfect as I did have to touch up a few spots and the clear coat has some surface bubbles.
Some items that would need attention to finalize the vehicle. The speedometer will need to be hooked up via the diff. The wipers only work on the high speed. The sunroof works however does not operate as smoothly as it should.
This car has been a wonderfully fun car to drive on the street, whether it be spirited driving or just taking to the store. I get compliments everytime I take it out. A lot of work has gone into making this car fun yet drivable and comfortable.
If you're wondering why I'm selling this, so am I...I wish I could keep every car I buy, but I only have space for one toy at this time.
