Stupidest roadside fix (
because there was a witness...)
Driving out of Ensenada up into the hills at Warp 9 with a bunch of cars chasing after me. (
2018 Targa Baja) The clutch starts to feel funny and then finally jams partially engaged. Pulled into a pullout and look to see if something there is any visual signs of the failure.
Yup ...
A pair of needle nose pliers that I'd had between the seat and door has slid forward and wedged itself under the bottom of the clutch pedal where it attaches to the shaft. Pull it out and we are off and running again.
And the huge embarrassment is because in the passenger seat is Dave from TRE Motorsports. Flying junk gets into the pedal and Dave gets to see it.
