This reminded me of my old 60s Dart story. 1971 up skiing with 3 high school buddies in horrible weather and had to chain up going over Donner Pass. a snubber broke and resulted in a terrible noise of a tire chain beating the crap out of the quarter panel. We had to use a shoelace every few miles. By the time we got to Sugarbowl no one had any laces left. After a cold miserable day of white out skiing (when you're 17 it's a great day) we discovered the door locks were frozen and we were locked out. Time to take turns peeing in the key hole. Hey, it thawed it out enough to get in. Thank God the damn thing actually started
