Yeah, I'm not going to buy a new iMac ($$) just to start tearing into stuff that's not meant to be torn into. That's like buying a brand new 911 and a week later tearing the engine down to put new cams and pistons in it.
Back in the day, it seems like Kingston and Crucial and Corsair were decent brands, thanks for the OWC add to the list.
