Mine was emergency surgery for a burst diverticuli. Drove myself to the hospital, thinking it was appendix. Woke up after surgery to discover a new hole in my belly. Had to do the baggie thing for a couple of months before being rehooked. Infection almost got me. Some new miracle antibiotics saved me. Lemme tell ya, I really appreciate my functioning a-hole.
At least I no longer have to worry about an appendix...it went along with the 16" of colon.
