...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 PM CST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow this afternoon changing to a wintry mix overnight and then light snow Saturday. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph on Saturday may lead to patchy blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...Portions of central, southwest and west central Wisconsin, northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota. * WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 6 PM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
I hate when it gets windy when it snows.
