Hopefully the mod doesn't yank this, it being a photo of a non-911, but it is nonetheless in my workshop and it's a P-car... with some Audi and VW bits in it.
You don't really need two hydraulic devices but this combination made it a one man job. Overall, a much less easy task than dropping the engine (and trans) in my SC. The HF 1000lb table is a useful bit of gear, but while I'd prefer a proper two-post hoist, the scissor lift is a game changer.
Of course, the are two post lifts, and there are two post lifts... one of these, with a Klinker tile floor would be the dog's 'nads:
