Ex-MIL was taken off of blood thinners for reasons I don't know. Extremely high cholesterol was her big issue. Shortly after stopping the blood thinners, severe stroke, brain dead and gone within a week.

Not funny at all...it's a HUGE risk...so guess I'm going to have an interesting post scan consult with a surgeon tomorrow. I'm not on Warfarin, Eliquis here. Dunno if that would make a difference or not. The way I understand it, Eliquis is more specifically targeted than Warfarin.
