My house in Fillmore was built in 1928. There was a hardware store in the small town that had been in business since 1917, Patterson's Hardware. Most guys who worked there were in their late 60's-70's. I can't tell you how many times I'd take something in there only to hear "I haven't seen one of these in 40 years!".
